NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) - The North Charleston Police Department has arrested a juvenile in connection with the shooting of a 73-year-old woman on Friday night. The male juvenile is charged with Attempted Murder and Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime. Officers say the shooting occurred on Oregon Avenue, authorities located the victim lying in the doorway of the residence suffering from a gunshot wound. Officials say EMS arrived on the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital. The North Charleston Police Department says the investigation is ongoing.
