BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — People stopping through Baton Rouge have plenty of options for an American classic: the cheeseburger. One Government Street spot is elevating what a burger can be and making it go down a little easier with some 'boozy shakes.'
Curbside started as a food truck targeting people enjoying Baton Rouge's nightlife.
"Late night crowd needs something to eat," said Jeff Byrnes, Hufft Marchand Hospitality's Marketing Director.
People eating the perfect patties wanted more.
"They wanted lunch, they wanted dinner, so it kind of transitioned into, 'How can we do that?'" Byrnes said. "We found this space here."

A new outdoor space is loaded with televisions and seating, so the gameday crowd has a great place to watch.
"For the games, we like to crank up the sound, we've got drink and food specials," Byrnes said. "It's just a nice place to feel like you're at the game."
Curbside is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, and 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
