Monroe County Board of Elections releasing voter turnout numbers

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Monroe County Board of Elections has begun releasing voter turnout numbers.
As of 11:55 a.m. Tuesday morning, approximately 80,000 people voted on Election Day. The total number of voters on Election Day and early voting is 212,902 — with a 42.6% total turnout.
The total number of voters in the City of Rochester reached 33,252 voters and the total number of voters in municipalities in the Rochester area reached 179,650. You can check out the current report below:

The County Board of Elections predicted there would be between 188,000 to 238,000 people showing up across the 215 polling sites across the county.
