ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Monroe County Board of Elections has begun releasing voter turnout numbers. As of 11:55 a.m. Tuesday morning, approximately 80,000 people voted on Election Day. The total number of voters on Election Day and early voting is 212,902 — with a 42.6% total turnout. The total number of voters in the City of Rochester reached 33,252 voters and the total number of voters in municipalities in the Rochester area reached 179,650.
