Firefighter injured while responding to Bristol house fire

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — One firefighter was injured while responding to a house fire in the Town of Bristol Monday morning.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office, deputies and firefighters responded to the fire on Rt. 64., which led to the roadway being shut down from 20A to Lee Road.
Deputies said nobody was inside the house, but two dogs were rescued by neighbors. A firefighter was injured during "ladder operations."
The firefighter was taken to a nearby hospital and was released. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
