If your kids have off from school for Election Day, and you’re looking for things to do, how about something “presidential?” * Visit the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Eisenhower Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, and/or FDR Memorial.  (Consider renting scooters and riding around to see them!) * Go to Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate or President Lincoln’s Cottage. * Check out the American Democracy exhibit at the American History Museum. * Take at hike at Roosevelt Island.
