MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A woman accused of shooting a man in his thigh two months ago after an argument at a Frayser apartment complex is now in jail on a $250,000 bond.
On September 20, officers say they responded to a shooting around 4:30 p.m. at the Casa Bonita apartments on 4234 Overton Crossing Street. A male victim was sitting on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim told police that he got into a verbal argument with a woman, identified as Keyares Bass, earlier in the day and that she threatened to have someone shoot him. Later on, he says someone was beating on his door and then he heard his wife open the door and begin arguing with someone.

Police say when the man went to see what was going on, he saw Bass along with several men standing at his door. One of the men wore a ski mask. That is when he says he closed the door.
A shot was then fired through the door and struck the victim in his thigh, according to reports. A bullet had also broken the glass door to the victim's stove.
The victim was taken to the hospital for his injury.
On September 23, the victim gave a recorded statement about the incident and was able to positively identify Bass in a six-person photo display as the woman responsible for him being shot.
