Roadwork on I10 in Doña Ana County could cause delays
Nov 05, 2024
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- If you commute between El Paso and Las Cruces, you can expect some lane closures and possible delays along Interstate 10 in Doña Ana County.
The New Mexico Department of Transportation says resurfacing along Interstate 10 will resume Tuesday, Nov. 5 in Doña Ana County. The highway between mile post 164.3 (New Mexico/Texas state line) and mile post 146 (east of Las Cruces) will be affected.
The contractor will operate from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Traffic in both directions will be affected so the project can be completed as quickly as possible, NMDOT said.
The project is expected by Friday, Nov. 22, weather permitting.
The contractor will remove and replace pavement, working west toward Vado, NMDOT said.
