Pedestrian taken to hospital after hitandrun crash

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle that left the scene in the evening hours of Monday, Nov. 4.
According to CSPD, on Monday at around 8:45 p.m., officers were called to a crash in the 5000 block of Hancock Expressway north of Milton E Proby Parkway. When police arrived they found a pedestrian was crossing Hancock Expressway when they were hit by a vehicle and the vehicle left the scene.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and CSPD said its investigation is ongoing.
