EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Students at schools throughout Rhode Island, although too young to vote, are being encouraged to participate in civic engagement.
The 7th graders at East Providence’s Gordon School had a competition to design the best “I Voted” stickers.
The winning sticker, created by student Marquesa Moore, features a Patriotic Del’s Lemonade.
This morning on Election Day, the stickers will be handed out to students as they’re dropped off at school.
