Record warmth today, with high temperatures in the middle 70s this afternoon. Showers will bring cooler air into the area by Wednesday, and afternoon high temperatures will fall into the 50s. We could see a few showers this morning but most will hold off until this evening.
Gusty winds bring in warm temperatures this afternoon
It will warm up quickly this morning. Mostly cloudy skies will become partly cloudy by noon, and temperatures will be in the lower 70s.

Gusty winds will bring record-setting temperatures this afternoon with a high in the middle 70s.
A cold front will move across the area during the early evening bringing showers to the area which will continue until midnight.

Cooler and more seasonable temperatures return to the area on Wednesday with high temperatures only in the upper 50s.
Most areas will see rainfall totals under one-half-inch
It will continue to be cooler on Thursday and will get slightly warmer Friday through Sunday with high temperatures in the lower 60s.
Drought area expands as conditions worsen
There are indications of even cooler air moving into our area by the end of next week with highs falling into the lower 50s.
Another wave of low pressure brings our next chance of rain into the area on Sunday.
