FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A Fresno man was charged after using hidden cameras to sexually exploit a minor, the Department of Justice announced Monday.
Court records state in March 2024 61-year-old Todd Eric Mumma was found guilty by a federal jury of actual and attempted sexual exploitation of a minor.

Attorneys state evidence at the trial revealed Mumma used hidden digital video recording devices in a residence to create sexually explicit images of a minor. He would later edit them and store the most sexually explicit images on a cellphone in a password-protected app and view them numerous times.
The DOJ states Mumma was sentenced on Monday to 21 years in prison for sexual exploitation of a minor, followed by 10 years of supervised release during which access to minors, computers, and the internet will be restricted.
Attorneys add Mumma was ordered to register as a sex offender and pay a forfeiture money judgment, representing the proceeds of property subject to forfeiture totaling $160,000. Mumma also has to pay $71,200 in restitution to a victim and $55,100 in special assessments.
