CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) – A drug task operation in Clovis has led to the issuing of two arrest warrants. The Clovis Police Department said they were receiving reports of drug activity in the area of the 2100 block of Belair Road. A search warrant was obtained to investigate the tips on November 1. Authorities said they detained three people while conducting the operation. They were identified as Ignacio Gallegos, 44, Amber Martinez, 33, and a 34-year-old. Although three people were detained at the time, only two are currently facing charges. Gallegos will be charged with trafficking heroin, trafficking meth, felon possessing a firearm, and possession of a controlled substance. Martinez has a warrant for distributing a controlled substance. Clovis Police Department said both suspects have not been arrested yet.
