PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Secretary of State Gregg Amore and the Rhode Island Department of State Elections Division issued a final reminder for Rhode Island residents who plan to vote on Nov. 5.
Mail ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Nov. 5 by the Board of Elections, and can be returned in a secure election drop box, at the Board of Elections, a local board of canvassers’ office, or at in-person polling place.
For in-person voting, polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. throughout the state.
However, in New Shoreham, polls will open at 9 a.m.
