PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — AAA Northeast announced the average Rhode Island gas price has dropped three cents since last week. The average price of gas stands at $2.94 per gallon as of Tuesday, Nov. 4, which is two cents lower than last month, and 51 cents less than one year ago. Rhode Island’s average gas price is sixteen cents lower than the national average. Even though there has been a decline in gas prices throughout the last year, AAA Northeast Director of Public Relations Jillian Young said “if the trend continues, pump prices might not fall much lower in the short term.” Categories: News, Providence, Rhode Island
