MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Police said a group of juveniles, including a 12-year-old, a 13-year-old, and two 14-year-olds, stole a car from the parking lot of East High late Friday night and used it to rob several people.
According to police reports, the black Kia Soul was driven off the school lot at around 10:17 p.m., and between 10:23 p.m. and midnight, it was used in four robberies and one shooting.
A 78-year-old man was robbed in the 2400 block of Madison Friday night
Among the victims, was a 78-year-old man who was held up at gunpoint in the 2400 block of Madison Avenue. The victim said the robbers, who were wearing ski masks, put a gun to his head and took his wallet.
MPD said a man was also robbed by the juveniles in the 3600 block of Mynders Avenue in the University of Memphis area.

The victim said a black Kia Soul pulled in front of his vehicle, and three to four individuals jumped out, pointed a gun at him, and demanded his wallet. The suspects took cash, the victim’s phone, his car key, and a gold ring.
26-year-old was robbed on Mynders Avenue near the U of M
Police said a man was also robbed and assaulted at Houston Street and Spottswood Avenue. The victim said two males got out of a black Kia, pointed a gun at him, pistol-whipped and kicked him, and took his cash.
Investigators said the suspects later tried to rob a woman outside her home on Minden Road in East Memphis.
The victim said she was pulling out of her driveway when a male pulled on her car door and fired shots in her direction as she drove away. The woman was not hurt but had what appeared to be a bullet hole in the front of her vehicle.

Police said while investigating that incident, the black Kia Soul was spotted on Poplar Avenue and Cooper Street.
MPD said after the driver refused to stop, a pursuit was authorized, and five people bailed out of the Kia in the 500 block of Prescott.
A 16-year-old boy was charged with aggravated assault, aggravated robbery, evading arrest in an automobile, evading arrest on foot, reckless driving, and theft of property, $2,500-$10,000.
