Loudoun County's Hypothermia Prevention Shelter opening for unhoused adults

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- Loudoun County announced that its Hypothermia Prevention Shelter will open next week.
The shelter will open its doors on Friday, Nov. 15 for single adults who are 18 years or older and unhoused.

The shelter is located at 16450 Meadowview Ct. in Leesburg.
Before entering, guests must check in at the Loudoun Homeless Services Center, located at 19520 Meadowview Ct. There, guests will be served a dinner before being moved to the Hypothermia Prevention Shelter.
Free bus rides to the shelter will be provided daily at the times and locations listed below:
Sterling: Loudoun County Transit Bus Route 82 bus stop across the street from the William Watters House, 22365 Enterprise St. in Sterling. Pickup time is 5 p.m.
Leesburg: The front of the Shenandoah Office Building, 102 Heritage Way NE in Leesburg. Pickup time is between 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
