ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Two new candidates are on the ballot for New York's 133rd State Assembly District seat this election day. Republican Marjorie Burns, who has held the seat for three terms and through the redistricting process, announced her decision not to seek reelection in January. Democrat Colleen Walsh-Williams faces Republican Andrea K. Bailey in the 2024 race. The Walsh-Williams campaign highlights her experience as a union leader representing NYS correction officers, engineers, nurses, doctors, lawyers, and more. Bailey's campaign highlights her eight years of experience as Livingston County Clerk. New York's 133rd Assembly District includes all of Livingston County along with parts of Monroe, Ontario, Steuben, and Wyoming counties.
