SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Fire crews worked to put out a fire inside the boiler room at Western New England University on Monday. Brush fire continues in Northampton conservation area According to the Springfield Fire Department, crews were called at around 11:36 a.m. for a fire at 1215 Wilbraham Road. Upon arrival, the crews found the fire in the boiler room, and it was put out. No injuries were reported and the investigation is being conducted by the Springfield arson and bomb squad.
