ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Nothing says "the Holidays in Albuquerque" quite like the annual River of Lights. Between November 30 and December 30, the ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden will be transformed into a dazzling display of lights and sound. Tickets for this year's event go on sale Friday, November 8 at 10:00 a.m. with a member ticket presale beginning Tuesday, November 5 at 10:00 a.m. until November 8 at 9:59 p.m. ABQ BioPark preparing for elephant to give birth Adult tickets for those attending Monday through Thursday are $14 with kids ages 3-12 at $7. For Friday through Sunday sessions, adult tickets will run $17 and kids will be $9. Children two and under are free. River of Lights will be open from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. each day and tickets will be timed entry. The event will be closed on December 24 and 25. There will also be two low-sensory nights on January 2 and 3, 2025. Park & Ride will be available at the ABQ BioPark Zoo and will run from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on event nights.
