ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque police arrested a man Friday night after they said he broke into a family home, groped a woman in her bed, and then tried to do it again after fleeing from the first house. Israel Robles was arrested after APD officers got a call about a break-in at a southwest Albuquerque home.

Israel Robles was arrested after APD officers got a call about a break-in at a southwest Albquerque home. The family said a man broke in and climbed into bed next to a woman who was sleeping beside her husband. When the couple woke up and realized what was happening, the man ran off.
A short time later, a second call about a man matching his description trying to break into a home down the street. APD identified the suspect as 20-year-old Israel Robles. The state has filed to keep him in jail pending trial. That hearing is scheduled for Thursday.
