ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Voters in Bernalillo County will have the opportunity to answer six General Obligation (GO) Bond questions on their ballot. These GO Bonds give funding to local projects. "We don't go above $40.5 million because we know that level of funding will allow us to pay back the bonds without having to raise taxes. Because of the successful way that we manage our bonds, we can pay back at some of the lowest interest rates that you'll see on the market," Chief of Government Affairs Kathy Korte said. This year the six GO Bond questions relate to libraries, public safety, parks & recreation, transportation, storm drainage & utilities and housing. For more information on GO Bonds, click here.
