WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Saladworks recently shuttered both of its restaurants in Rhode Island, 12 News has learned. The fast-casual restaurant franchise officially closed its locations in Warwick and Providence on Oct. 31. "We held out for as long as we can," Saladworks wrote in a social media post. "We salute all small business owners out there who are showing up day in and day out. To everyone who has touched our lived, we will forever be grateful." Saladworks opened its first Rhode Island location off of Fountain Street in Providence four years ago. The Ocean State's second Saladworks, located off of Bald Hill Road in Warwick, opened back in April 2022. "We kindly ask that you continue to support small businesses," Saladworks continued. "Behind each small business is a family trying to make it work through these tough times." Saladworks is known for its made-to-order salads, wraps, soups and sandwiches. Both Massachusetts and Connecticut are each home to only one Saladworks location — in Woburn and Enfield respectively. Close Thanks for signing up! Watch for us in your inbox.
