On Monday, Nov. 4, the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office reported that 27-year-old Jerry Gabriel and 29-year-old Markeice Jefferson were arrested following the conclusion of an investigation by the Special Investigations Division Narcotics Unit. French Quarter shooting leaves two wounded During the investigation, SBSO agents said they recovered a gun, $5,950 in cash and a digital scale from Gabriel's home. (Courtesy: St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office)Jerry Gabriel and Markeice Jefferson (Courtesy: St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office) SBSO officials said Gabriel faces charges of possession with the intent to distribute Tapentadol, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, obstruction of justice - evidence tampering, illegal possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance, transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses and drug paraphernalia. Jefferson faces a charge of possession of Tapentadol.
