MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A student who attends Corinth High School in Corinth, Mississippi was killed Monday morning in a car accident, according to the school's principal. The student has been identified by the school as Callie Pounders. Principal John Barnett made a Facebook post offering counseling services in the commons for students and staff for the remainder of the week. Pedestrian fatally struck in Horn Lake "We are deeply saddened by this loss and will make every effort to continue to look after and care for one another," Barnett said. He also says he will communicate any additional information to the community if there is something the community can do to help assist the family during this time.
