How to be prepared for Election Day in Tennessee

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- It's officially the last day of campaigning before election day in the state of Tennessee where more than 2.2 million people have already voted early.
Shelby County Election Administrator, Linda Phillips says they are prepared to handle any unforeseen challenges, ensuring a smooth voting experience.
"There are electronic trackers in all of our equipment. So we will know. We will know where it is at all points in time," Phillips said.
Shelby County election officials prioritizing voters’ safety
Polls in Shelby County will open bright and early at 7 a.m., but unlike during early voting — you must go to your assigned polling locations based on the district you live in.

You can type in your county, name, and birthdate to find out where you can vote Tuesday. You will also need to take a photo ID with you.
Some voters report problems at polls; election commission says be careful when casting ballot
Polls will close at 7 p.m. in Tennessee.
"I am more concerned about our military and who will be commanding us," one voter said. "I hope they understand that whoever gets elected is elected. We don't have any other alternative.
