Early voting ends in Marion County as nearly 170,000 voters cast their ballots

INDIANAPOLIS -- Nearly 170,000 voters have cast their ballots as early voting has officially concluded for Marion County residents ahead of Election Day.
Election officials reported a total of 133,727 voters cast their ballots early in person while 32,173 absentee ballots were completed and sent out. Of that amount, voting centers have received 27,381 absentee ballots so far. That number is expected to increase between Monday and before 6 p.m. Tuesday as more ballots arrive by mail.
Election officials confirmed the last ballot cast by an in-person early voter was around 2:30 p.m. Monday before the deadline passed.
The total number of early votes included individuals who cast their votes by traveling board and online votes for military members.
