MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WFRV) - The owner of a popular brewery in Wisconsin has announced that he'll be winding down operations by the end of November before being acquired by another brewery. According to a social media post, MobCraft Beer in Milwaukee and Woodstock, Illinois, is in negotiations to be acquired by another brewery and will most likely be winding down operations as MobCraft at the end of November. Titletown gearing up for this year’s Winter Jubilee Warm Up "It's with mixed emotions that I am making this post," said MobCraft officials. "Trying to cram heartbreak, financial struggles, excitement, and optimism all into the same statement, but here we are!" MobCraft's last official day of serving will be November 30, 2024. Officials say that the MobCraft location in Woodstock, Illinois, may continue to operate as MobCraft and be run by current leadership or transition as well. "We've built an amazing community over the years, and that's apparent through all of the love we consistently heard from you." MobCraft Beer laid out a detailed plan for some of the final events they're hosting throughout November. In Milwaukee: Monday, November 4: Craft Beer Advent Calendars go on sale at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 9: 6th Street Roundabout Makers Market from Noon to 4:00 p.m. Thursday, November 21: Last Milwaukee Mug Club Thursday. Exclusive Mug Club party. Saturday, November 23: 7th Annual Stout Fest. Wednesday, November 27: Early Black Friday case blowout sale. Everything must go. Friday, November 29: Black Friday. Free pint to first 100 people through the door plus sale. Saturday, November 30: Lsat day open to the public. Huge party and everyone is invited.
