EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The City of El Paso and Destination El Paso announced the 2024 NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Texas Annual Conference will be held on Thursday, Nov. 7, through Saturday, Nov. 9, at the El Paso Convention Center. Destination El Paso says this will be the first time this event will be held in West Texas where NAMI will be serving as an annual gathering for those affected by mental illness including mental health service providers, advocates, and stakeholders. "Each year, this conference brings together experts, innovators, and those impacted by mental health challenges to share insights, celebrate achievements, and highlight the latest innovations and resources in mental health care," Destination El Paso said. This year's conference will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, workshops, and an awards ceremony to recognize contributions to mental health advocacy and support. "Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with leading professionals, gain valuable knowledge, and connect with others who are dedicated to improving mental health services in Texas," Destination El Paso said.
