WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) - Election Day is just one day away and both candidates are hitting key battleground states to try and shore up support before polls close Tuesday night. Pennsylvania, by all accounts, will be key for either candidate to win the White House. Former president Donald Trump kicked off Election Day eve rallying voters in North Carolina where he drove home his message on the economy and immigration. "I will invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to target and dismantle every migrant criminal network,” said Trump. Vice President Kamala Harris is spending the entirety of her day in the Keystone state, starting with union members. "I'm very proud to stand with you Glen, with your members, with all the members of labor,” said Harris. The VP, who unexpectedly entered the race just over 100 days ago, is no longer calling herself the underdog. Harris will end the day at a Philadelphia rally with singer Lady Gaga and Oprah Winfrey. Trump is rounding out his day in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Polls show Harris has a slight advantage in Michigan, but what's still unclear is how the war in Gaza will impact the undecided Muslim-Arab vote there. In recent weeks Trump has made a dent in that community and Monday he insisted had he been in office, October 7th would have never happened.
