Boise Police are investigating the death of a man who was found in the road near West Overland Road and South Atlantic Street on Friday night. According to CBS2, Boise Police said that a driver called and reported that they had run over what they believed to have been an already dead person. When officers arrived they found a man who had suffered fatal injuries. Police learned that several drivers had seen what they believed was an object in the road and were able to swerve around the man, but several drivers were not able to avoid the man and ran over him. Officers quickly shut down Overland Road between Latah Street and Owyhee Street which was closed for several hours while officers investigated the incident.
