BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Beginning Monday, Bakersfield residents can place same-day grocery delivery orders from FoodMaxx and Save Mart through Amazon, Amazon said through a news release Monday. Bakersfield is one of four other cities participating in FoodMaxx's expansion of its same-day delivery service: Hayward, Sacramento, San Jose and Turlock. The delivery service has also been extended to Save Mart customers and can place order through this link starting Nov. 11. Customers can also sign up for a monthly $9.99, or annual $99.99, grocery delivery subscription which offers unlimited delivery on orders over $35 across Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods Market, and other retailers.
