AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person is dead after a motorcycle crash that happened over the weekend in north Austin, the Austin Police Department said in a news release Monday.

Officers responded to the deadly crash near the East Anderson Lane service road westbound and Interstate 35 on Nov. 2 around 3:38 a.m., the release said. The motorcyclist, identified as 18-year-old Ronny Perez, was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police.
This is now being investigated as Austin's 74th fatal crash of 2024, according to police.
The crash remained under investigation by police Monday.
