Central Ohio Weather and Radar QUICK WEATHER FORECAST: Tonight: Mixed clouds, breezy, low 61 Tuesday: Partly sunny, windy, warm, high 79 Wednesday: Morning rain, mostly cloudy, high 68 Thursday: Clearing skies, high 64 Friday: Mostly sunny, high 66 FORECAST DISCUSSION: Good Monday Evening, It has been a very warm day today with high temps up near record levels, with highs in the mid to upper 70s. We will have a very warm night, near record levels with partly cloudy skies, and a breezy night. This near record start to the day, should help us get up to record territory on Tuesday. The record warmest low and record high on Tuesday for November 5th were both set in 2022. We should be able to break the record on the back of a strong south wind. High temps should push up to the upper 70s to near 80. This will push us to the warmest average day also for the date. This will also make it the warmest Presidential Election Day on record here in Columbus, as the current record is November 3, 1964, when the high hit 74°. Rain will come in overnight Tuesday night into Wednesday with our next cold front. This front will slowly slide through on Wednesday morning, with highs still topping in the upper 60s late on Wednesday. Clearing skies will return on Thursday with highs in the mid 60s. We should remain in the mid to upper 60s on Friday with mostly sunny skies. Saturday, clouds will increase late in the day, with highs still above normal in the middle 60s. Rain showers will return Saturday night into Sunday with a warm front lifting north, but a cold front to the west will keep rain chances in the forecast into the start of next week. Even with rain in the forecast on Sunday and Monday, highs will remain in the low to mid 60s. -Dave
