DC police investigating after man found shot in parking lot

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is investigating after a man was found shot in a parking lot in Northwest D.C. on Sunday.
Police said on Nov. 3, just before 6:30 p.m., officers were called to the New Hampshire Avenue and Farragut Street area after gunshots were heard in the area.
Upon arrival, officers found a man, who had been shot, in a parking lot located in the back of the 5000 block of First Street.
Man dead, another hurt in Southeast DC double shooting
Police said he was taken to the hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
