Crash on Route 10 in Bernardston causes power outage

BERNARDSTON, Mass. (WWLP) - A portion of Route 10 in Bernardston is closed after a dump truck crashed on Monday.
According to the Bernardston Police Department, Route 10 is closed from Bald Mountain Road to Parmenter Road after a crash involving a dump truck took down a pole and power lines. No injuries were reported however, the road will be closed for several hours.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area while crews work to clean the crash site.

According to the Eversource outage map, there are over 250 people without power and it scheduled to be restored before 1 p.m.
