PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A local music venue in Providence is closing after 7 years. Askew Bar & Lounge on Chestnut Street announced that they would be closing on December 1. “I want to thank each and every one of you who supported my Dream by attending all my crazy events and shows! We couldn’t have done it without you,” the owner wrote on Facebook. Alchemy, the sister venue also located on Chestnut, will not be closing. “We will be combining all our artistic and musical creativity with our sister venue, Alchemy! You’ll find all the amazing Crew running the events and stick around, we have big things on the horizon,” the owner further stated. Categories: News
