WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — A teenager was arrested Sunday for allegedly vandalizing property at a West Warwick church last week, according to police.
Senior Pastor Christopher Hart told police the vandalism at Christian Hill Community Church happened late on Oct. 26 or early Oct. 27. Hart said a bus, a tractor, a shipping container and two sheds on the property were damaged.
"There’s a lot of anger in the world," Hart told 12 News. "We live in times that are filled with volatility, and sometimes people just express that anger in ways that are hurtful and disappointing. I feel like this is just one of those times."

Police said numerous bus windows were smashed, the roof of a trailer damaged, along with both sheds damaged and entered, and a tractor stored in the shipping container was also vandalized.
Detectives identified a 14-year-old boy from West Warwick as the suspect. He was arrested and charged with vandalism/malicious injury to property and tampering with vehicles. Police said the case will be referred to Kent County Family Court.
Hart doesn't believe anything was stolen. He said he's unsure at this time how much the repairs will cost.
