We’ll Wait 29 Minutes for Food Before We Get Annoyed
Nov 04, 2024
Would you say you’re a patient person? 71% of Americans think they are, but do the stats back it up? A study looked at how long the average person can wait for various things before they start getting annoyed . . .
1. Waiting on a server to take your order? 13 minutes.
2. Waiting for your food to arrive? 17 minutes. So, add those up and we expect to be eating within 30 minutes of sitting down.
3. Waiting in line at the grocery store? Over half of us will switch to a different line if we see more than three people ahead of us.
4. Food delivery? 29 minutes. So, Domino’s was onto something with their old “30 minutes or less” guarantee.
5. Waiting behind someone at a stop sign? A third of us are laying on the horn within 10 seconds.
