NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man is dead after a shooting in the Warehouse District, according to the New Orleans Police Department. At 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, officers responded to the call of a shooting in the 700 block of Tchoupitoulas Street. French Quarter shooting leaves two wounded Responding officers said they arrived to find a 24-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS. (WGNO/Renaldo Ruffin) An investigation revealed the victim was outside at the location when someone approached him, shot the victim and then left. Officers report the victim was the intended target of the shooting. No further details are available at this time. The NOPD is in the process of gathering evidence and information to determine a possible suspect and motive. NOPD looks for 3 suspects in New Orleans armed robbery The Orleans Parish Coroner's Office will release the victim's identity after an autopsy is done and the family is notified.
