LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The University of Kentucky’s Ag Equine program students made an impact for rescued horses over the weekend. About 50 students volunteered on Sunday as part of the program’s annual “Weekend of Service” project, assisting at locations like the BraveHearts Equine Center in Paris, organizers report.
At BraveHearts, students helped with grooming and socializing the animals, contributing hands-on support that helps both the horses and the organization. BraveHearts representatives noted that projects like these not only benefit the horses in their care but also help raise awareness of their mission to support equine rescues.
