INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after one person was shot on the near northwest side of Indianapolis on Monday morning. Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department dispatched at approximately 8:19 a.m. on a report of a person shot in the 600 block of W. 30th St. When officers arrived they found a male victim with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. This is an active investigation. Information will be updated as it becomes available.
