RCSD: Man arrested for attempted murder

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A man has been arrested for an attempted murder incident that happened on Nov. 1, said Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott.
Deputies responded in the 1200 block of Metze Road for reports of a shooting that occurred just after 11 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1.
Richland County deputies were alerted of a possible suspect, later identified as 40-year-old Marshaun Robinson, leaving the scene in a vehicle.
Robinson was detained by RCSD deputies. While deputies questioned Robinson, they were informed of a possible victim inside a building.
The victim was located and taken to a local hospital. Investigators determined that Robinson and the victim were associates.
It was found that during a brief conversation between the two, Robinson fired multiple shots which hit the victim, and the victim then returned shots in self-defense, said RCSD.
Also, Robinson was taken to a local hospital for his injuries. He was then booked into the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
Robinson is charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and a felon in possession of weapon.
