Free pet vaccine clinic happening in Baton Rouge at Southern University

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Southern University Ag Center and the SU College of Agricultural, Human and Environmental Sciences' Animal Science Pre-Veterinary Medicine Club have partnered with the LSU Community Outreach Mobile Unit to host Vet on Wheels. It's a free vaccine clinic for dogs and cats.
The event will be from 3 to 6 p.m. on Nov. 6. It will be on the lawn of Fisher Hall at Southern University. The clinic will give the animals their core vaccines, including rabies.
Southern University Pre-Veterinary Medicine students will have a chance for hands-on experience during the event.
Southern University is located at 801 Harding Blvd.
