FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Happy Monday!
We are off to another warm and breezy start to the workweek, with temperatures headed to the middle 70s this afternoon. Expect mainly cloudy skies today, with an isolated sprinkle chance earlier on. An area of low pressure is moving to our northwest, which is bringing us the increased cloud coverage, but as a result of high pressure blocking to our east, the rain stays out of our area.
For Tuesday Election Day, we'll be warm to start the morning, with highs in the upper 70s to near 80 during the afternoon. Expect windy conditions at times, with sustained winds 10-20 MPH, and gusts close to 35 MPH. Outside of that, we'll see a good bit of sunshine, and a fairly nice forecast for voting!
We then have a cold front that brings some rain showers overnight and into Wednesday. Expect scattered showers through the first half of Wednesday, with highs dropping back to the upper 60s.
Outside of an isolated shower Thursday, we start clearing up. Expect highs in the middle 60s by that point, which still keeps us well above average.
We end the week with lots of sunshine, and highs sticking in the middle 60s for our Friday.
