TOPEKA (KSNT) - Just under a month ago, The Topeka Cat Café reached their one hundredth adoption.  And the adoptions keep on coming. Since Wednesday, the café has received 11 adoptions.  Chocolate and sweets festival makes its return for the first time since pandemic Sunday, November 3, many of the cats and kittens were picked up by their new owners and taken to their forever homes.  "I think that it really shows that we're offering a space that can increase the adoption rate and help get more cats in homes," April Liang, co-owner of Topeka Cat Café, said. "Because there's some people that have no intention of adopting but once they spend time with them they realize that they do want a cat at home."  Liang adds that seeing this many cats find a home is a rewarding experience.
