Two people die in accident, KSP investigating

MARION COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) -Kentucky State Police are investigating an accident that left two people dead.
According to KSP, around 6:20 Saturday afternoon troopers were called for a two-vehicle injury accident on US 68, near the intersection of Jessietown Road.
KSP says 20-year-old Erick Garcia was traveling West on US 68 when he crossed over into the eastbound lane and dropped of the road.
Garcia then steered his vehicle back into the lane and hit 75-year-old Roy Wright head on.
72-year-old Deborah Wright, who was riding with Roy, was pronounced dead on the scene by the Marion County Coroner.
Mr. Wright was taken to UK hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Garcia was arrested and is charged with vehicular homicide, assault 1st degree, DUI 1st offense, Wanton endangerment and other traffic offenses.
Garcia was held in the Marion County Detention Center.
