ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Rochester man bit two arresting officers Friday night after running from police investigating the theft of a car on Park Avenue, according to the Rochester Police Department. The car was reported stolen from Park Avenue just before 6 p.m. Officers said the suspect, a 29-year-old man, was quickly tracked down before he ran away. He was eventually arrested, during which a struggle ensued, resulting in two officers being bit by the man, according to police. Rochester felon sentenced to 16 years in prison after hiding cocaine in anus The man was taken to the hospital where he's expected to survive his injuries. One of the officers also needed treatment for injury. The suspect is expected to be charged for assaulting officers, having several outstanding warrants and car theft.
