MONSON, Mass. (WWLP) - A portion of Bradway and Butler roads in Monson are closed following a brush fire. Calls came in to Monson Fire Department around 2:40p.m. on Friday. At 4:30p.m. the fire had burned around 100 acres. So far it's unclear how much of the fire has been contained. Numerous fire agencies are on scene assisitng the Monson Fire Department including those from Hampden, Franklin and Worcester Counties. No homes are being threatened.
