NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — On Friday, Nov. 1, Inspire NOLA gathered 2,000 local students to celebrate its third "NOLALove" rally. Renaissance Festival 2024 opens Nov. 2 in Hammond Rappers Juvenile and Mannie Fresh joined the students, along with Congressman Troy Carter, to celebrate their academic achievement and unity. The rally ran from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Mahalia Jackson Theater in New Orleans. The goal of the rally was reportedly to "end the youth crisis in New Orleans."
