MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One man is in critical condition after a shooting Friday night at a hotel on Lamar Avenue, and a woman has been detained. Police responded at 6:12 p.m. to 3896 Lamar near Getwell, the address of the Economy Hotel. A man was taken to Regional One in critical condition. A female has been detained. Officers are checking the area for suspects, and checking hospitals for possible other victims.
